What a great fall, winter and spring we have had in Newport Beach. Sure, it did rain a bit the past few months, but we had some wonderful weather most of the time. My wife and I have spent quite a few days in Newport Beach and have been amazed at how often we have sunny days. Sometimes it really felt like summer was already here in January….I mean it was over 80 degrees several days.

So now the Newport Beach summer vacation time is near and we will be having more people and less parking. Well, when you have something this good I guess you have to expect that lots of other folks will want to come….and they do, every year at this time.

Where else can you find a terrific beach so close to famous restaurants, clean, safe, consistently great weather and full of opportunities to do a variety of activities? Whatever you can think of it is here. Personally, we like to bike and walk down the boardwalk. However, in just a few minutes you can go to a nice tennis court or go out in the bay on a kayak and get some great exercise. We also will take friends for a tour of the bay on one of the electric Duffy boats which can be rented near the fun zone or across the bay – great relaxing time with a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers to nibble on while you cruise.

So, do not worry about the crowds…just give it a try, a grand Newport Beach Vacation for a week. You will create some amazing family memories and will surely want to come back again and again.
